Becoming an Entrepreneur 👀 #208

Hi everyone,
It’s been an interesting week. I started off, now as an independent freelancer, by taking on two contracts. One, as a Senior UX Designer, and the second as a Design Evangelist. I talk more about why here.
What I haven’t talked about is, through doing this, realising that I’m not what the industry calls a “designer” anymore.
The UX design role in this case involved a lot of taking instructions from creative directors and creating views in Figma in low fidelity. Creating different options for review. Linking them up to understand journeys.
It didn’t excite me and I questioned why we were doing it this way.
I think process is so linked to the quality of output.
So, I’m not a designer. In some aspects, I have a limited future as a sprint facilitator. I may be at the beginning of my journey becoming an Entrepreneur.
Check out the blog in this issue for what I think that might entail.
Appreciate your support,
thanks, Ross
