Backwards is comfort 🔙 #192

Hey everybody,
A more traditional approach to this week’s email newsletter, and it’s been representative of what I’ve been feeling in recent weeks until this morning.
Isn’t it funny how we often look backwards for comfort? Whether that’s going back to the office, getting back to a routine or meeting up with old friends.
Trying new things can be less comfortable. It’s the fear of the unknown.
All too often we let the fear of the unknown stop us. But pushing ourselves out of our comfort zones is actually good for us. Trying new things not only helps us to vanquish those fears, but it also allows us to expand our minds and learn—both about said new thing, and about ourselves. (ref)
What makes us grow is that venturing into the unknown. Trying a new tool, a new activity or taking a new job. Taking that trip or even moving to a new country. I could go on.
As I reach issue 200, I want to understand what’s helping you grow. Is it following me on my little thoughts and adventures? Is it the links I share? Or should I stop at 200?
As Autumn comes in, I’m up for trying new things to keep pushing forwards.
Thank you for reading this issue,
thanks, Ross
