Hello everyone, and a happy weekend to you. It was my birthday yesterday, and shortly after I finish typing this I am having some friends over to celebrate via the medium of an almost-annual event I call The Davison Cup, in which I invite them to explore a variety of video games they’ve never played before because all they play is Skyrim, The Witcher and Civilization.

This time around, we’re going retro-themed thanks to the wonderful Evercade platform; I’ve assembled a programme of varied and interesting score attack and multiplayer challenges for them to take on, with boozy prizes on offer for the winner. There will also be a small but eclectic cheeseboard. No-one ever say I don’t know how to entertain.
