Hello everyone, and welcome to another edition of the Rice Digital Weekly Digest. Hope you’ve all been having a good January – it’s nearly February already and the world is still a complete mess, but at least there are still video games and pretty anime people to lust after.

Some great stuff on the site this week, including our exclusive interview with JPU Records, a label focused on bringing the best of Japanese music to the west. It’s always great to have an opportunity to speak with the people who help us access and enjoy the media we love, so be sure to show JPU Records and their acts some love if you’re into your Japanese music.

I’m writing this during a brief break in a deep clean of my study here at home. Long overdue, but I’m glad we finally got around to it. Hope you’re all enjoying a productive and/or relaxing weekend!
