It’s now a full year since I took over as the big daddy, the head honcho, the man in the big chair here at Rice Digital and, I’ve got to say, I’ve been having an absolute blast. This really is a dream job, and it’s been a delight to be able to share the experience with both our wonderful team of writers and you, our beloved audience.

As I noted last week, we’re all looking forward to another year full of interesting video games, visual novels, music and Japanese popular culture in general – and as always, we’d love to hear what you want to see more of, too. So if you have any specific requests for us to explore, please be sure to let us know!

We’ve also revamped the way you can contribute letters to the Rice Digital Friday Letters Page this week. Not only can you submit letters through the dedicated Letters page on the site, but you can also simply fill in the contact form at the bottom of each new Rice Digital Friday Letters Page from hereon. Should make it easier for everyone to take part – so we’d love to hear from you! The Letters Page is always a highlight of my week, so I hope you’ll all come up with some interesting and creative things to send us.
