Before the COURAGE conference this year, we invited anyone who felt God was speaking to them for us to send us what they were hearing. We have collated them and made them available on the website for your encouragement.
During the conference we also had a team who were charged with bringing God’s words to us. Two that we felt were particularly relevant and encouraging were from Phil Whittall and Mike Frisby.
Mike spoke about God bringing us “an anointing of joy in our salvation”, and encouraged us that when the times call for courage “it is the righteous who are as bold as a lion”.
Phil said:
We have a message that brings life to the lifeless, hope to the hopeless, power to the weak and salvation to the condemned. [And] just as Jeremiah did we hear a voice that says: “Go wherever I send you and say whatever I tell you. And don’t be afraid of the people, for I will be with you and will protect you” (Jeremiah 1:7-8).
When we are filled with the joy of our salvation, and convinced of the gospel’s power to save others, we can go out boldly, knowing that even when we face opposition and even persecution, God is with us.
You can watch the videos on our
COURAGE page, where you will also find links to the text of Phil’s word and the other words sent to us before and throughout the conference.
