Where is our compass pointing?

Checking the compass
Throughout January Mike has been taking his annual season of “reflecting, praying, thinking, writing, planning, reenergising, enjoyment & talking” and generally checking his personal and our collective compass to make sure we’re still on track.
If you’ve read his book, Relational Mission: A Way of Life you’ll know that ‘a compass but no map’ is the metaphor Mike uses to explain how we as a family have received direction from God - we know the general heading (“to multiply apostolic spheres in the nations through the raising up of spiritual sons and daughters” (pp153-4)), but not the specifics. We need to continually look to what God is doing and follow where he is leading.
At Prayer and Equipping on 28 February-1 March, Mike will be sharing some of what God has been revealing to him in the past month for our next steps together. You won’t want to miss it, so get signed up now and make your plans to come.
If you’re not in church leadership, or can’t make it, we will be sharing the vision over the coming months, too, so you won’t entirely miss out!
Prayer & Equipping Days — 28 Feb-1 Mar
First ENOUGH of 2018
One thing we can be sure of is that prayer will still be firmly on the agenda for us, so make sure you’ve got the dates of this year’s ENOUGH prayer gatherings in your diary. The first is on 23 March and we will be praying for some of the areas Mike will be sharing about at Prayer and Equipping. Come along and be part of a world-changing activity. Details of hubs coming soon…
