I knew principle 2 would be the least popular when I wrote it. Weighing yourself every day? Dreadful.
Except that it isn’t. I find I’m less neurotic overall when I regularly keep track. I don’t have to wonder (or, in my case ruminate) if the numbers are creeping up. The old advice about using your clothing to measure weight gain isn’t so helpful when every garment has a bit of stretch.
I thought my tendency to gain weight incrementally put me in the minority until I read this:
