Ts-migrate, Meta-Languages, and Context

Check out this excellent new library from AirBnb! ts-migrate is a tool to help migrate code to TypeScript. I tried it on a personal project this week, and loved it.

Are you familiar with the React anti-pattern ‘props drilling’? Context provides a solution. With Context, you can pass data through the component tree without having to pass props down manually at every level. The core team warns us to “apply [Context] sparingly because it makes component reuse more difficult.”
