JLR’s venture arm is launching a new accelerator targeting startups in the mobility and transportation space. The rolling six-month InMotion Accelerator programme will offer funding for upto 15 startups across two cohorts/year.
Ford acquired a majority stake in artificial intelligence startup Argo AI for $1B. Founded by two hotshot engineers from Google and Uber, Argo AI plans to use its AI expertise to build software for self-driving vehicles.
