Thank you to everyone who joined us for a wonderful session. We brought partners and stakeholders together at the end of our current funding, to showcase the partnership’s work, our impact, and what we’ve learnt about adopting early action. —

For our EBE Groups Pilot programme we created a workbook and resources to help organisations plan and set up an Expert by Experience group. Two cohorts of organisations have used the workbook and we’ve included some examples of their work. —

Application deadline: 30 June 2021, 10am Rainbow Haven is looking for a Development Manager to increase the capacity of their team, developing areas of infrastructure, fundraising and communication strategies. —

The OISC have published new guidance on which applications a Level 1 caseworker can make. Level 1 caseworkers WILL be allowed to make some late applications after 1 July 2021. —

24 June 2021 Spaces are available on staff wellbeing training run by Act Build Change and funded through the Respond and Adapt Programme. The theme is Apology, Accountability and Challenge, and will cover what an apology is and having challenging conversations around care. —

A new course providing an introduction to housing law for immigration advice caseworkers past, present or future. It will help you spot potential issues and opportunities for your clients and learn about a new area of law! —

The Refugee Action family was very saddened to hear the news this month of Gina Clayton’s passing. Gina was pivotal in the development of Refugee Action’s Access to Justice work nestled within our Good Practice & Partnerships Team. She was a mentor and a critical friend and advisor in setting up our work and strategy. —
