We’re running two courses by ARC Foundation and Asylos. One focuses on the basics of what country of origin information is, when it can be used and its limits, the other is a thematic webinar looking at international protection claims for persons with disabilities.

Hub Call-Out
Insight Hub Survey
Deadline: 26 Jan, 5pm
Our latest Hub survey has just launched, and is focused on understanding current key issues including the impact of Omicron, the Covid-19 vaccination programme, homelessness and the Afghan response. We invite all organisations to take part.

A Retrospective: Afghanistan COI Repository 2021
Since the launch of the Afghanistan COI Repository in September 2021:
  • 14 volunteer researchers have given over 200 hours of their time
  • 3,990 unique page views and 1,637 total downloads 
  • 2 partnerships have developed with US legal organisations

Napier Barracks Planning Application
Consultation deadline: 30 Jan
The Home Office is currently consulting on planning proposals for the continued use of Napier Barracks for eligible asylum seekers whilst their claims are being considered.
Boloh Helpline
Project ends: 31 Mar
Barnardo’s Boloh Helpline is pleased to announce the expansion of their service to support the mental health and wellbeing of adult asylum seekers across the UK. The Helpline will offer advice, signposting, emotional support and 8 free sessions of therapy.
ATLEU - Vacancies
Applications deadline: 24 Jan
ATLEU are recruiting for 2 new roles: a Policy Manager and Engagement and Participation Coordinator. They are looking for dynamic and committed individuals to take on these newly created roles, working closely with ATLEU’s Director.
Action for Refugees in Lewisham - Trustee
Application deadline: 23 Feb
AFRIL is seeking Trustees to join their board and provide governance to their charity. They particularly invite applications from BAME candidates and people with lived experience of the asylum process or irregular migration.
