Good Practice Together
Resources, training and guidance to further our goal of supporting your outstanding work.

Asylum Guides - Resources Open to All
Our Asylum Guides website is now available to all frontline organisations. Legal education toolkits, including a Covid-19 update, enable volunteers to meet with clients to help them to understand and navigate the asylum system fairly.
A partner who used the website, DASH in Huddersfield, was pleased to learn last week that one of their guided clients has now secured leave to remain.
For more information about delivering Asylum Guides, email Rachel at Asylum Guides.
Guidance - Digital Inclusion
The sector is acutely aware that digital exclusion is a significant marker of poverty, experienced widely amongst asylum seekers and refugees. New content on our website includes practical guidance on who to support and how.
Also learn about LASSN and Bristol Refugee Rightsโ€™ digital inclusion work. Read the blog on Digital Inclusion, by Ed Maw, on the challenges and opportunities of reducing digital exclusion with Refugee Action.
Show & Tell - Safe Face-to-Face Delivery & Prioritisation
Online Show and Tell: 1st July 10 - 11am
Organisations face complex decisions about whether and how to transition service delivery between remote and face-to-face. Together with our partners, weโ€™ve produced guidance on safe face-to-face delivery, prioritising clients and service, and a handy resource library to help you make decisions.
Join our online show & tell, Wednesday 1st July 10 - 11am. Weโ€™ll share our learning, give a tour of the guidance, and hear talks from our partners.
Training - Boundaries & Good Practice
Part 1: Tuesday 7th July - 1pm to 5pm
Deals with how to navigate the boundary between what is immigration advice requiring regulation, and what is not.
Part 2: Wednesday 8 July - 1pm to 5pm
Looks at how you can support clients to engage with regulated advisers, including solicitors, and what you can do when things go wrong. Both sessions are open to all.

Coronavirus Handbook Updates
Safeguarding & Domestic Abuse
With families spending more time at home together whilst organisations adopt remote and new ways of working, you may find the updated Safeguarding and Domestic Abuse sections of our Coronavirus Handbook useful.
Coronavirus, Asylum and Immigration
For the latest Covid-19-related legal changes take a look at the updated Asylum and Immigration Advice section of our Coronavirus handbook.
Get Involved - Service Coordination
Many organisations are concerned about those whose needs go unmet. Lockdown has prompted organisations to think about how clients find out about, access, and move between services.
Throughout July weโ€™ll be working with partners to discover how we can deliver effective and accessible services together. Weโ€™ll explore coordination, communication, entry points, triage processes, shared needs assessments and referral routes.
Interested in this area of work? If so, email Lora to join our webinar, Thursday 30th July 10-11am. Weโ€™ll present our work and hear from partners.

Survey Closing - Information & Data Hub
Weโ€™re producing regular bulletins on the issues that people in the UK immigration system are facing.
To help us gather further insight, please take our Covid-19 Impact Survey (closes Tuesday 30 June at 12 noon) or arrange a 1-to-1 interview. On completing the survey organisations will be invited to a discussion on the issues identified and links with support to address them.
