Right to Remain have launched their new look Toolkit website. The Toolkit is a step-by-step guide to the UK asylum and immigration system. —

|
Lloyds Bank Foundation have launched a new fund to support small and local charities with an income between £25,000 to £1 million. Organisations can now apply for a two-year unrestricted grant of £50,000. —

|
Asylum Matters has prepared an online resource to support partner organisations who are considering submitting a response to the UK Government’s consultation on its New Plan for Immigration. —
|
|
Refugee Action has set up a joint statement in response to the Government’s consultation on the New Plan for Immigration. The statement has gone to press locally and nationally, and has become an e-action that individuals can sign. —
|

In addition to the above statement, Refugee Action are working with RAS Voice to develop an alternative consultation process, focusing on the views and experiences of those with lived experience. This includes a parliamentary event on 28 May and focus groups. —

ASAP has created a toolkit for asylum support appeals, providing an overview of the process of appealing with information and advice. ASAP also has a series of free eLearning courses on asylum support law. —
|
|
Application deadline: 10 May We are currently looking for an experienced researcher to work with us to investigate the barriers which prevent migrants from complaining when they receive poor immigration advice. The project will run from June - September 2021. —

Tuesday 15 June The Foundation for Social Improvement is hosting a ‘Big Advice Day’ as part of Small Charities Week. Attendees can access one-to-one advice sessions on a range of topics including Fundraising, Governance and Strategy development. —
