Planet Ghostbusters - Issue #5

Planet Ghostbusters
Planet Ghostbusters
Our last issue went out precisely as we all found out that Ivan Reitman, director and producer extraordinaire, passed away in his sleep at age 75. I had just pressed post on the newsletter and then my social media went nuts.
After that, it wasn’t as much fun writing about Ghostbusters for awhile. I was going to do a Reitman episode of The Crossrip podcast, but my heart wasn’t in it.
It’s still sad that he’s gone, but his work on the Ghostbusters property over the last five years became apparent almost immediately, with a sequel to Afterlife announced this past Summer. For Christmas next year. And that’s just the tip of the iceberg. So, time to get back in the saddle (EGB reference!)
NOTE: “Hey, what happened to Proton Charging?” I’ve been paying a Canadian company US dollars annually for the Proton Charging server since 1999. Increasingly it wasn’t worth it, particularly as I wasn’t sure what to do with 25 years of old Ghostbusters news with no new updates. So, here we are for now - sweet and simple.
