Hello, Ploomber community It’s been an exciting month! We’ve been participating in Hacktoberfest, and got many new friends!

🚨 What's new?
  • New landing page!
  • More recipes in the cookbook: hooks, serialization, debugging, logging, and parametrization.
  • General improvements to the documentation organization.
  • Ploomber analyzes your scripts and notebooks before execution to detect potential issues.
  • Log to a file with the –log-file/-F option.
  • Mobile-friendly documentation.

🎙 Upcoming Events
  • Eduardo is speaking at PyData Global 2021 on October 28th. He’ll be presenting a practical framework for testing ML projects. Check out the talk information here. And, of course, he’ll be using Ploomber for the code examples.
  • Filip from Evidation Health is also speaking at PyData Global 2021. He’ll be presenting a case study of an influenza monitoring system he developed using Ploomber.
  • We’re are presenting at ODSC West 2021 on November 18th, one of the largest industry Data Science conferences.
  • Eduardo is presenting at PyCon Chile on November 7th, he’ll be developing and deploying a pipeline with Ploomber in 20 minutes!
  • We’ll be participating in HackTX 2021 (the annual hackathon at the University of Texas) and VolHacks V (the annual hackathon at the University of Tennesse)!
🎥 Recordings
  • The recording from our workshop at Vancouver Datajam is out! A 2-hour session where we taught the basics of Ploomber and some advanced features. 
  • We presented at the PyData Chicago Meetup. The talk introduces the project’s motivations and gives a high-level overview of some of the features.
  • The recording from the EuroPython 2021 talk is out! In this talk, Eduardo develops and deploys a Machine Learning pipeline in 30 minutes! To demonstrate how Ploomber accelerates pipeline development.
