Thank you for reading.
To feel happy, you need 3 things. I think it was Rita Mae Brown who said that. You need someone to love, something to do, and something to look forward to.
I love my wife Evelina; we’ve been a couple for 17 years (!!), and have two kids together (most of the time they are as happy as hippos). 💕
I work with the things I enjoy the most: thinking, writing and creating. 💭
And I look forward to our long family trip to La Cala de Mijas in Spain at the beginning of next year; we’ll enjoy a “workation” with lots of ice cream, playgrounds and strolling along the beach. 🏖️🍹
How about you? Who do you love, what’s your “something to do”, and what do you look forward to? Think about it.
If you want to share your answers with me, I’d be extra happy, since I want to get to know you better (now that you know me). You’ll reach me at

That’s all. See you next Tuesday!
Hi from Mattias, the 🇸🇪UX writer
📘 PS. I’ve written an e-book on UX writing. It will be out on December 2 this year. First in Swedish, and maybe (if
you tell me: “What a great idea!”) in English later on. Here are some of the great UX writing people mentioned in the e-book:
Elaine Short, Andrea Drugay, Gordon Macrae, Jennie Tan, John Saito, Kinneret Yifrah, Mario Ferrer, Sophie Tahran and
Yuval Keshtcher.
