It was great! Glastonbury, we love you!

We arrived on a wednesday and left on a monday. The full Glasto monty. And we enjoyed every minute of it. What a great festival Glastonbury is! We hope to be back one day!
What made our trip extra nice is that we could stay on the artist / crew campsite behind the stage. With toilets, bar and more. And of course our own tents.
Our first gig was on the friday, the John Peel Stage. The back stage area was a big tribute to the man that played such an important role for alternative pop music. Unfortunately, he’s never heard our music, but his son Tom Ravenscroft (BBC 6 Music) has. And Tom and the other Peel children (William, Florence and Alexandra) were all camping behind the John Peel Stage as well and visiting our show. Nice.
This was just before our first gig. The tent was huge. Will there be people coming? That was what we were wondering. It was early, the first concert on the friday.
As you can see, we were not alone ;-) A great turnout and great response.
The second show we did was in the tiny Crows Nest where groups like Squid and Black Midi played too. Great atmosphere.
And this was our third one on the William’s Green stage. It was boiling hot on the saturday. Other bands this day were Squid (again!), Fontaines DC and Shame.
And well, this is us on a monday. Knackered!
Glastonbury was a highlight in our career. A special thanks to Al who did the great sound at all Glasto gigs! We recorded Boat at his Big Jelly Studios, go there too if you have release plans!
