We send this letter to people we've had contact with or people we think are interested in us and our music. Updates about music, tours and media. If we're wrong, we're sorry, then don't hesitate and unsubscribe! All the best, Pip, Tender, Darek, Gini.

Hi all, we’ve done some covid-19 proof shows recently and it was great to play again. And great to see some of you again. Of course it’s not the same as it was and the way we ultimately want it, but it was good fun! We will share some special extra shows with you soon, but for now, let’s talk music!

IJland Studio
IJland Studio
We are working really hard on our new album. Recently we’ve recorded 16 live demo’s of new tunes in the IJland Studio in Amsterdam (go there, Dutch peopele, if you want to record something)!
In 1,5 weeks time we will travel to the UK to start recording our second album in Big Jelly Studios in Ramsgate. Love it over there!
After that, the mixing starts.
The album will be out in 2021.
England has declared the Netherlands an orange zone. That means we have to go in self quarantine for 14 days when entering the UK! That means we won’t be allowed out of the studio for that period of time. No pub, no shop, no fresh air, nothing.
We love eachother a lot, but this is not going to be easy. So we are looking for things to do other than recording music. For example: exercising.
Do you live in the Ramsgate area and have an exercise bike or a rowing machine or a treadmill we can use for twee weeks in september so we can stay sane? Let us know!
We don’t want you to wait for new music untill next year of course. That’s why we share a live demo version of Easy with you. Will it be on the album? We don’t know yet, but we love the track. Catchy, powerful.
Join Pip Blom Backstage for free if you haven’t yet and you can play the song for a week! All Premium and Exclusive members will find the video + download permanently on their ‘My page’.
We miss playing live, we miss meeting you all, we miss all the great venues around the world. Support them when you can! One of the venues that’s special to us is the John Peel Centre in Stowmarket. It’s special because we played there and the people and venue are great, but it’s extra special because Pip and Tender have been visiting Peel Acres, the house of BBC DJ John Peel and his family, since they were babies.
John Peel would have been 81 this sunday. To celebrate that, the John Peel Centre organises a great celebration of music. One of the things is a YouTube show of 81 minutes with special music by artists like Tim Burgess (Charlatans), Peter Hook (New Order), Billy Bragg and The Wedding Present.
And a very special track by Pip …
Have a look this sunday at 19.30 UK time over at You Tube. And support the crowdfunding campaign for the John Peel Centre!
