We send this letter to people we've had contact with or people we think are interested in us and our music. Updates about music, tours and media. If we're wrong, we're sorry, then don't hesitate and unsubscribe! All the best, Pip, Tender, Darek, Gini.

Wow, it took some hurdles, but finally, we can say: here is our second album Welcome Break, released on the wonderful Heavenly Recordings, recorded with Al Harle in the fabulous Big Jelly Studios.

The reviews are great
We’re really happy with the reviews so far. Here’s a selection:
  • XS Noize (10/10): “Welcome Break is one of the best records of the year. Don’t sleep on it”
  • Mojo (4/5): “Sheer charisma of bold clanging anthems / Blom’s buoyant indie-rock proves hard to resist”
  • Uncut (4/5): “Dutch foursome perfect Britpop 2.0 / A deceptively simple collection of slightly melancholic bangers / Play loud, listen carefully”
  • De Volkskrant (4/5): “If it was the forced break that helped determine the quality of this album, then he was indeed welcome
  • Line Of Best Fit (Album of the Week): “An addictive listen / Near impossible to not want to return to Welcome Break again and again”
  • DIY (4/5): “They master a balance between growing up and maintaining innocent charm”
  • Spectral Nights: “Welcome Break takes you on one hell of a personal journey. Enjoy your stay”
  • OOR: “On Welcome Break, the Pip Blom sound has been fine-tuned and the songs have become even stronger. Glastonbury can probably added to the tour agenda again soon”
But ... there is always a but
One of the hurdles so far has been problems at the pressing plant. Because of that, the physical release has been postponed again. Everyone can listen to Welcome Break from today onwards, but buyers of an album or a cd have to wait until the second half of January. Sorry about that and thanks for your patience! Coinciding with this we had to postpone the in-stores as well. New dates:
  • 21-01-22 Leeds / Jumbo
  • 22-01 22 Liverpool / Jacaranda
  • 23-01-22 Bristol -Rough Trade
  • 25-01-22 Totnes /Drift
  • 26-01 22 Brighton / Resident
  • 27-01-22 London / Rough Trade
Thanks a lot!
Enjoy Welcome Break and let us know what you think!
