We send this letter to people we've had contact with or people we think are interested in us and our music. Updates about music, tours and media. If we're wrong, we're sorry, then don't hesitate and unsubscribe! All the best, Pip, Tender, Darek, Gini.

Wow, this is soooo cool. We are finally allowed to share the news with you, we play Glastonbury! We’ll do three Glasto gigs, starting on friday June 28th on the John Peel Stage!

The Road To Glastonbury
What started as a crazy dream in 2016, a blog called ‘The Road To Glastonbury’, is a fact now! Back then I knew nothing about the music industry and wanted to learn from experienced people so I started interviewing people from bands, labels and more. I wanted to know how the industry worked and what I needed to do to reach my goals. One crazy goal was to play at the legendary Glastonbury festival. A very crazy idea for someone without a band and with only a few written tracks. And you know what, we’re a band now and we reached that goal! Pip Blom has been added to the bill of Glastonbury 2019! Like mentioned, we will play 3 shows, starting on the John Peel Stage. WOW! A crazy dream come true!
And on friday Boat will hit the shops!
And of course you will all know by now that our debut album will hit all your favorite stores and streaming services this friday. To celebrate the release we will play the Rough Trade East shop om releaseday May 31st. Living in the London area? Buy a ticket and you get a gig + a cd or vinyl album + a bonus cd with BBC session numbers! The billboard above helps to inform people in London about the release and about our big upcoming London Scala show on October 16th. Get your tickets. Find info about all our international shows over at PipBlom.com. We have a busy schedule ;-)
And the first reviews of Boat have been coming in:
  • The Skinny: “Boat is a triumphant debut album.“ (4/5)
  • Uncut: "A buzzsaw belter. Damn fine lo-fi pop.” (8/10)
  • Mojo: “Dutch indie darling Blom hits all the alt-rock pleasure centres.” (4/5)
  • Northern Transmissions: “Youthful angst and enthusiasm, wrapped in a poppy, yet ragged sound.” (7/10)
  • NRC.Next: “Indiepop van de meest aanstekelijke soort.” (4/5)
Check it our for yourself. Friday is Boat day!
Thanks for all the support! Love from Pip, Tender, Darek and Gini.
