Reflecting on the past month or so it paradoxically feels like I’ve done so much, yet so little!
As mentioned at the start of this newsletter, I’ve been spending a lot of time in the kitchen cooking and canning preserves (once I’ve finished typing this up, I’ll be making a sugar plum jam today!) and have been really enjoying learning the science and art behind it all.
Recently I finished listening to The Trojan Horse Affair from Serial and found it to be a very interesting and well-paced story, told by Brian Reed. After listening to S-Town and not quite getting into it, I wasn’t certain if this was right for me, but Trojan Horse was a truly gripping podcast which I would recommend if you’re looking for something new to listen to.
And of course, I’ve been busy planning my travels! After spending so long in Canberra my wanderlust has definitely kicked in and I’ve been busy researching new restaurants, museums and other local curiosities to explore in the cities I’ll be visiting.
