It’s playtime baby - come see it 👶

Opening a shohow! Here's all info:
FINALLY we are opening our doors again 💥 You’re welcome at Schaafstraat 21, Amsterdam-Noord on Friday May 28th from 17:00 till 21:00 or Saturday and Sunday from 12:00 till 18:00. Drinks on the curb outside!
For ‘combo combo solo’, we follow Rotterdam-based artist Nazif Lopulissa into a quest of exploring one of the most important elements of his childhood: the playground. His works are a translation of real life playground objects into pure abstract shapes on canvas. A lot of new works, exclusively for sale at Patty Morgan. Works will be available on Nazif’s Patty page from Friday 28th at 12:00.
Play is to be found in the contrasting shapes and colours that Nazif displays in his work. Through translating the playground’s aspect of play in these formal artworks, we are for once allowed to find meaning in the things lost in the quick pace of our adult lives.

But! More play in the showroom. In ‘combo combo solo’, Nazif also attempts to renew the framework surrounding his practice. The past year had Nazif thinking: can art actually exist in a vacuum where it cannot be seen and experienced? A revamp flooring of our showroom is a manifestation of Nazif’s search for an answer to this question.
Fading the distinction between exhibition space and public space creates an interplay between both the spaces and his work, also highlighting how the artist has been bringing outdoor structures indoors through his work. Layers on layers on layers!
  • No reservations needed. We can have a maximum number of people inside. Bring that face mask. You just might have to wait outside for a bit if it’s busy. But lucky you, you’ll find our bar outside. 🍸
  • Private visits are also possible: send us an email to make an appointment between June 1 - 25.
  • Wanna receive a pricelist in advance? Send us an email.
See you then ‘n there kiddo 🔎
