Hi!
Ready for your weekly cornucopia of Voice content? Here is your portion of voice news with everything ranging from books to dive deeper into VUX to fast market updates with the latest numbers and everything in between.
Maarten here: Two things stood out. One: The Drum piece about the speakers being overhyped. Read it, especially when you are some sort of Voice evangelist and keep telling others how cool Voice is. They have a good point which we often share in the newsletter as well. It comes down to keeping it real. Knowing that the potential is high, but we remain in waiting of impressive usage statistics.
The other thing that stood out: Founding of the The VoiceFirst Community. It reminds me of the basically any industry organization. They play an important role by taking the long view and provide guidance. A sure sign that despite the lack of use cases the Voice industry is growing up.
Are we ready for one in Europe?
Sam here: I have two off weeks ahead. I’m writing this from the Swiss Alps. This week is all about snow and the kids. Next week I’ll be off to Austin for SXSW (Happy to see a few of you there! - I’ll email later this week).
Let’s move on to the news!
