Hi {{first_name}},
Every week we collect the developments in the Voice domain into a single list of things you shouldn’t have missed. But before we dive into the news, here’s more on the other channels we work on.
Maarten is ill (normal flu, nothing to worry about), and Sam is preparing for a couple of weeks of being a nearly fulltime dad for his kids in the next few weeks (schools will be closed till April 6th in The Netherlands). As for this newsletter, we’ll just pretend nothing happens. It might be that it will be a slow news period though. Let’s see how this goes.
🎧 Voicecast
Later today we hope to release the latest version of the Voicecast: Michiel Muller from Sanoma on “de Donald Duck” (a Duck from the Walt Disney family - quite popular in The Netherlands and Finland). Later today you can listen to this episode via your browser, or better yet: subscribe in iTunes or Spotify.

We’re sad to have postpone this one… I guess you’ll understand why. But looking at the bright side of it, this gives us more time to prepare😉.
Now, on with the news!

BBC Press Office
From today, people can get regular Coronavirus updates from the BBC on their Amazon Alexa enabled devices. These will be updated throughout the day, with all the latest news and what it means for them.

All you need to do is say “Coronavirus update from the BBC". https://t.co/IOpEGNXKzI

As we said, this would be quite a slow week. I hope you’re all doing well and feeling safe (I’m happy SXSW got canceled…). Hang in there and maybe take time to set up that hobby project you’ve been putting off. If it’s anything voice related, reach out and let us know:)
Cheers,
– Maaren & Sam
