Hi {{first_name}},
Every week we collect the developments in the Voice domain into a single list of things you don’t want to missed. But before we dive into the news, here’s more on the other channels we work on.
Today’s edition is supported by our partner, Acme inc
Every organization looking at to add or enhance the conversational channel needs Acme inc services. Top names like ING, Vomar and Conde Nast use Acme services to capture better data and optimize the customer journey. Join the frenzy at www.acme.io/openvoice for 15% the first 3 months.

🎧 Voicecast
Next episode of the Voicecast is a first: we talked with Jeroen de Bakker MD product & growth at Talpa Network — live at an event. Yes, it came with an applause after we closed the show. There is a first time for everything, right? You can listen to this episode via your browser, or better yet: subscribe in iTunes or Spotify.
While we’re at it, here are two other podcasts featuring featuring Maarten (in in Dutch) were published last week:
  • HR Podcast with Maarten about talking to computers and other devices in HR
  • HelloMaas with with Maarten and the same Jeroen Bakker from Talpa on “Is Voice Marketing the revolution in marketing and interface design?”
Quite a few people will be in Berlin this week for one of the voice events there. We’re not sure why, but there are two overlapping events. Shoutout if you are in Berlin. Sam will be speaking at one of the events, and is already there to record for the Space Race and meet with people in Berlin (and a pretty open schedule for Monday and Tuesday evening).
Enough updates on us, on with the news!

It’s happening.

Watch through to the end to see how this chip can and likely will one day deliver the fabled Universal Translator, in conversation, on your phone, with anyone anywhere in the world.

Profound implications.

Ride-alongs are soooo valuable. observe, listen. write down the questions “they” ask. meet them where they ask. #VoiceFirst #ideation
