Hi {{first_name}},
You know we’re unwinding when we skip a week. Sorry about that! I guess we needed that.
Sam was off and limited his connection to classic phonecalls and SMS (all he brought was a feature phone). Maarten is still off and will be back on the newsletter next week. After that, all is back to the usual.
🎧 Voicecast episode live: DAS
While on holiday we did publish the latest episode of the Voicecast, with legal service provider DAS. They have a sneak preview of their action (it’s live now), which allows (Dutch) people to prepare a claim in case of delay for flights. Listen to the episode.
🗳️ SXSW Community voting
SXSW opened community voting for the sessions in 2020. Sam and Jolien van de Griendt proposed a panel on Voice Assistants for news organisations in Europe with RTL Nieuws, Bayerische Rundfunk (Germany) and the BBC. 👉 Help us get the stage time in Austin by upvoting.
Now on with the news of the past few weeks. Here is what happened:

Lewis Levy, MD, FACP
Great conversation on voice bio markers identifying opportunities to improve population health. Mayo Clinic leading the way. #VOHSummit19 https://t.co/ryoNBTuvof
9:31 PM - 5 Aug 2019
That’s it for this week.
Cheers,
– Maarten & Sam
