Hi!
This is already the 19th edition of the Weekly Voice newsletter!
A special warm welcome to those who joined in the past week, as we both have been talking to/with many people ( Voice Conference, Rockstart Selection day, World Summit AI, eDay, SRM Voice update people!)
This was another busy week:
  • Facebook will have a smart camera with Alexa built in (wanna understand what is going on?).
  • Google announce that the first Dutch speaking Google Home is finally going on sale (October 24th), home hub too (just not in NL ..) and Duplex is available-ish on their new Pixel phone.
Here are the headlines. A bit deeper when possible and surprising angles to make you think.

Developing a voice interface is REAL work.

It took Deutsche Bahn...

-28 design sprints
- 19 team members
- 8 departments within company
- unknown (and probably best left unknown 😐) hours of testing

That’s it for this week.
We’re looking forward to share more news from the world of Voice next week - See you then!
Cheers,
Maarten 🤜💥🤛 Sam
