The tenth edition of Cryptocommerce is here! It’s been a wild month here at OpenSea. We received another investment (shoutout to our new and existing investors), launched The Godfather collection in collaboration with Terra Virtua, and pushed out new features that y’all have been asking for (thank you for the suggestions)!

Other NFT projects have been hard at work this month as well. Gods Unchained, especially, has made a huge splash in the NFT market. Within a couple weeks after their launch, there has already been $700k of card trading volume.
Fascinated by Gods Unchained, we wrote about How Blockchains Change Collectible Card Game Economies. Our thesis is that increased asset diversity, markets, and liquidity that blockchains bring to trading card economies not only provide substantial benefits to card flippers (ex. exposing them to more profit opportunities), but also decreases the pay to play threshold of the game which increases the aggregate fun for players and promotes long term growth. Head on over to our blog to read the post, and let us know on our Twitter and Discord what you think!
