Medellin Wins Back to Back PUL Titles
The second Premier Ultimate League Championship Weekend is complete, but we still have just one champion: Medellin Revo Pro. The Colombian club won their second title in two seasons, defeating Raleigh Radiance in their semifinal matchup and fending off a comeback from DC Shadow in the championship.
The final looked like it was on its way to a blowout, with Medellin jumping out to a 4-1 lead that grew to 12-6 in the first half before a DC run brought them back within three. The lead hovered between three and five goals for most of the second half, giving the impression Revo could stride out the victory, but a late break from DC added some drama to the closing minutes by bringing the deficit to two goals. Medellin’s advantage was too great, however, and they closed out their second title.
Along with another championship, Medellin put together an undefeated season. Across the league’s two seasons, they have never lost a game. Eliza Mosquera, last year’s MVP, was strong on Championship Weekend, and Lien Hoffmann joined the crew, but it was Manuela Cardenas who stole the spotlight with some trademark big plays.
You can rewatch the games from PUL Championship Weekend on their YouTube channel, where you’ll find the final, Revo’s win over Raleigh, and DC’s demolition of Indy. You can also check out our preview for the event and our preview edition of the Double Overtime podcast.

Windmill Winners
Amsterdam once again played host a variety of teams from across Europe and beyond in the men’s, mixed, and women’s divisions for one of the most competitive (and reportedly fun) international ultimate events in the world.
Home team GRUT (Amsterdam) claimed the mixed division crown with a torrential bracket performance that concluded with a 14-8 victory against Puti (Helsinki). American visitors Primadonna Girls (Denver) emerged women’s division champions, besting Czechs 3SB (České Budějovice) 15-9 after dicing up the rest of the field. Clapham (London) took care of business in the men’s division with a 15-7 win against Mooncatchers (Brussels).
