Eat, at Gramercy Tavern.
Gramercy Tavern is an historic restaurant located in the Flatiron District, opened since 1994 which offers two dining experiences: rustic vibes in The Tavern and a classy atmosphere in The Dining Room. They serve contemporary high-quality American cuisine and was awarded one star in the Michelin Guide 2017.
Michael Anthony, the executive Chef of Gramercy Tavern, attended culinary school at L’École Ferrandi, when he lived in Paris many years ago.
Choose The Tavern for lunch to sit at the bar (menu or à la carte from $18) but for dinner, go for the Dining Room and one of their two fixed-prices seasonal menus (from $129 to $179 tipping included). You will have many choices between a fine selection of elaborated courses and scrumptious desserts. Their plates are savory and sophisticated, and their service impeccable. Try the whole experience!
One last thing: book a table before stopping by, because Gramercy Tavern is always bursting at the seams.
