Eat, at Buttermilk Channel.
When I’m looking for a place to have a sunny Sunday brunch in Brooklyn, I can’t help but think of Buttermilk Channel.
Buttermilk Channel is a cozy restaurant located in Carroll Gardens and its name refers to the small strait separating Governors Island from Brooklyn. The neighborhood is quiet and enjoyable, somewhat far from the tourist spots but you can’t escape from the crowd on weekends (especially in New York!) since the restaurant has become popular thanks to his American regional classics and signature dishes.
The prices are pretty reasonable and their little terrace, charming. For comfort food, treat yourself with their tasty buttermilk pancakes served with maple syrup, Huntington eggs or the fried pork chop and cheddar waffles. You won’t go wrong.
