Our goal is to develop a “digital playbook” for a non-profit housing organization. My very first reaction is “ah brand awareness”. However, nonprofit doesn’t have a budget for a social campaign or any type of paid media. They also don’t wish to be heavily promoted, but in the meantime, they want the scale. How do we fight for the eyeball? and let people know about their services.
Our team is working on the digital manual book. It could help them to find the correct tone of the voice on social. Instead of creating content, they could know better on how to re-purpose/curate content.
Talking with other PMs, they seemed to have more concrete projects. Develop a data dashboard, redesign the website, gather users feedback on UX, their projects are more tangible and the result can be measured. Our project is different. It’s almost like implementing a digital culture into their organization.
My team is great, and everyone has an interesting background. People are here to help and make some positive change. It’s a good vibe. I have one marketing person working for a home security intelligence product. I was happy to have a mobile developer on my team but we had to turn him into a “somewhat social guy” to fit project needs.
Currently we are in the developing phase and I know we took a very different approach, an interesting one. 🌻
I would love to keep you guys updated.
