The latest news in digital, media innovation and what was actually interesting in tech and culture curated by @oliviameng from New York

Hello and welcome the 1st issue of December. We are in the last month of 2017 and I hope your year went well.  I can’t wait to share some stories with you. For now, this newsletter is one of the best things in 2017.
Well, 2017 has been a uniquely miserable year in the media business, in which venerable publications and fledging sites, divided by audience age and editorial style, have been united in misery. What’re your primary sites for news? Digital publishers are having a tough time with revenue goal and still being challenged by social platforms.
I have included another two articles about career transitions. It works well. I will share some stats with you later this month.
Super Happy winter activities: stay in and watch documentary films. Dior and I was a great film that brings you the inside of Christian Dior fashion house with a privileged, behind-the-scenes look at the creation of Raf Simons’ first haute couture.

Every day is a celebration.

Until Next week,
Olivia
