Special Announcement - Open Forum on Older Adulthood

Hi Everyone:

Just letting you know that I will be hosting my first presentation on Lifelong Working on Sunday, August 22 at 11 a.m. Eastern Time via GetSetUp, an online place for active older adults to learn, connect and share with peers in small intimate classes.

Here are instructions for attending:

You will see this screen:

Note in the upper right corner where it says Log in | Sign up - You will need to register for the GetSetUp service. Click on Sign up. You will then see this screen:

Click on Sign up. That will take you to this screen:

Fill out the form and follow the prompts to register as a GetSetUp user. Once that process is complete, you should be sent back to the first screen of the presentation where you will need to click on the “Book” button on the right side:

Once you are booked, you will get a confirmation (and a reminder later) letting you know that you are enrolled with a link to the presentation for clicking on around 5 minutes prior to the presentation on August 22 at 11 a.m. Eastern (it will adjust to your time zone as well).

The word "Anima" has a variety of definitions. Here it simply means “soul,” or one’s individuality, or one’s inner essence. An old soul has a finely tuned compassionate, tolerant, and magnanimous nature. Old Anima provides information, in a variety of forms, that can be helpful for older adults (and young souls, too), by drawing mostly from humanity’s stock of wise philosophers and scientists.
