Hello again. A few themes emerging from this week’s batch of links. The first is the Silicon Valley brand. Starting with a tale you’ve heard before: an ego-driven, philosopher-disrupter brand, centred on the start-up’s male founder. Then a newer story: what happens when a start up outgrows its brand and needs to reposition itself?
The second theme looks at how art is changing in the selfie age (and whether it stops being art and starts being something else.. maybe even advertising).
