Hi New Friends,
Seasons are changing and it’s a great excuse to change it up and do some exploring! I ventured out into strip malls and hole-in-the-walls this week to find some pretty delicious places, and put together a list of leaf peeping spots to check out this weekend. Colorado is in full swing for fall colors, don’t miss out on the Instagrams!

EAT: Seek And You Will Find
Bourbon Grill started as a small walk-up counter on East Colfax serving delicious and cheap BBQ, then expanded into a larger sit down place earlier this summer when their lines started to wrap around the block. Their ‘Bourbon Chicken’ is 💯!!!! This no frills place in the shady part of Colfax was founded by a Vietnamese refugee who came to Colorado after cooking alongside BBQ chefs in New Orleans. No wonder their chicken tastes like the American Dream.

Seoul BBQ is well worth the trek to Aurora. If you think Dae Gee is good (I think it’s meh), you will be BLOWN AWAY by Seoul BBQ. Let’s just say I ended up getting the meat sweats from overeating. 🐮 Everything on the menu comes with their signature side dishes, banchan, and they’re more unique than your average pickles and potato salad. Try the galbi and haemul pajeon.

Cherry Hills Sushi Co is tucked away in a little South Denver strip mall and was such a delightful discovery. 🍣  It’s a small restaurant with great ambiance because all their seating is around a main bar. Their menu is simple with just a few handrolls and sashimi items to pick from, and a rather long list of Japanese whiskeys! This is part of the beauty. Get the crab handroll and salmon sashimi.
