Objectified: a must-see design documentary 🖊️📐
Objectified is a feature-length documentary about our complex relationship with manufactured objects and, by extension, the people who design them. It interviews a wide range of thought leaders from different disciplines and continents such as Paola Antonelli (MOMA’s Design Curator), Chris Bangle (BMW’s former Design Director) and 2 of IDEO’s co-founders. Although from 2009, I watched it for the first time last week and file it as an instant classic for anyone interested in design and the impact it has on our daily lives.

Build your own little chatbot with 🤖💬 is a conversational AI toolkit aiming to make it 10x easier for people to build their chatbots. What Wordpress does for websites, I see Flow.AI do for chatbots. Although you might not use this tool directly, I see this step towards accessibility as an important moment in its development. The machine learning behind Spotify's suggestions 🎵🔮
I’ve been an avid user of Spotify and week after week, it serves me a list of 30 unknown-to-me songs in my Discover Weekly. The suggestions are so on-point, causing me to just keep ‘adding to songs’ one after the other, and I’ve heard from many of my Spotifying friends having the same experience. Truthfully, it’s one of the main reasons I’m with them still. This article demystifies the machine learning behind the magic.

Inside the minds of social entrepreneurs 👩‍💼📼
Changemakers is a new video series on social entrepreneurship by my talented friend Catalina Catana. Unlike most interviews, focusing on the business bits of wisdom, Changemakers focuses on the personal resilience and psychological make-up that drives the need and ability to make such an impact. The first edition is out now for you to enjoy.
