A dozen links every two weeks for newcomers to web development

I’m writing the text for the first link up here because I want to make sure it’s the first thing everyone reads. Eloquent Javascript is one of the best texts for learning Javascript. The author of the first editions is now running a fundraiser to write a 3rd edition. These books have always been available for free online or as a purchasable print or ePub copy. If you’ve benefitted from earlier editions and have never bought a copy, this would be a great way to give back to the community and help fund the learning of future Javascript developers. If you’re just starting out, keep watch on this link so and consider donating so that the book can be published sooner.
