Tuesday TEA Time
I hope you are having a good day. If you are in the USA, you are probably getting ready for a couple days off from work. I am in the USA, but I don’t have any plans for the holiday here. I’m just enjoying the slow week.
Britain funds research into drones that decide who they kill
Have they not seen The Terminator? I wonder often “does that person know, when watching a movie, they are the bad character?”
Google wants to improve your smart home with iRobot’s room maps
It’s super creepy of Google to ask for the maps of your home. I don’t think most people with robot vacuums know these maps exist.
My new favorite podcast is Shedunnit. It’s fantastic! In the latest episode Caroline talks through the story of Dr Crippen and it’s really wild. I won’t be missing an episode.

I am pretty intrigued by this new modular desk that is mix and match, can be extended anytime, and can do things like wirelessly charge your phone, provide a little lamp, hold little pots for plants, etc.
de-sk : the modular desk
There are more good photos of the desk on instagram. Like this one with little pots for plants!
Okuda San Miguel’s sculptures made for Boston earlier this year are beautiful. Such vivid colors. I wish I could see them in person. I found this on Colossal.

And finally: I wanted to show you this concrete furniture.
I found this via swissmiss. There are more photos over on Ignant.

That’s all for today. I hope you found something interesting.
