How are you this week?
I am alright. Last week was super super busy. I am hoping this week will be a bit more relaxed and a bit more structured. I’m doing my best to only have two or three todo items each day so that I don’t feel like I’m failing every evening from not completing half my things.
How do you manage your work?
I’m into sneakers and I have bought a few through a marketplace that are sold-out or rare. However, it’s not always a good experience. This complex article breaks down how bots are ruining buying sneakers online:
How Bots Ruined Buying Sneakers
I’ve recently noticed that I spend less time trying to get some super rare sneakers and more time trying to find a deal on a cheaper, easier to get pair. I absolutely love the Nike Air Vortex and they are plentiful. If I had the budget, I’d just have every color available.
I also really like the new and pretty affordable Nike Blazer Mid ‘77:

Ain’t no bots going to be going for those…
A new website I found last week is The Quietus. I found it because I was looking for some new music and they have some pretty great album reviews. They also have a pretty great art section that is worth checking out.

Checkout their Soundcloud playlists for some music you maybe haven’t heard yet.
An artist on Instagram you should def give a follow is Karabo Poppy Moletsane. She is an amazing illustrator (and also has great taste in sneakers 😎). I learned about her from the newsletter by Lauren Dorman.
That’s it for this week. I hope you found something awesome.
