One Month, 500,000 Face Scans: How China Is Using A.I. to Profile a Minority
This is the first example of our newer machine learning technology being used to track and isolate minority groups in a population. This reminded me of IBM’s computers being used during the Holocaust to enumerate and track people.
Scotland has approved the use of a “digital identity” for public services. The approved app is named Yoti. I wonder if this will become the standard way we identify ourselves at the DMV and other similar places…
