I hope you are having a good start to your week. My week was always going to be pretty busy, but it became next level busy yesterday. 🥺
So I’m trying to be super intentional this week and make sure I find time to read, to rest, and to think. I really value having time to think and I find if I try to just go, go, go I end up doing everything slower and worse. We’ll see how I do this week.

Brick laying isn’t easy, so programming and testing this robot must have taken a long time to get right. I guess it’s inevitable: any repetitive task can probably be described to a computer in enough detail to allow it to eventually do it better than us. It’s been weird the types of problems people have chosen to program a computer to perform like recognizing images, making ramen, and now laying bricks.
China built a tower that acts like 'the world's biggest air purifier,' and it actually works
I’ve heard that out-door air purifiers are a big deal in cities with a lot of pollution. It’s another way where the more wealthy can have something better than those with less means, even better air to breath. I wonder if these types of towers will become normal for all major cities?
It’s very interesting that the “bad guys” are banning themselves from selling certain drugs. This reminds me of The Godfather where Corleone didn’t want to get into selling drugs at all, but wanted to focus on gambling.
There are two vehicles that are very cute that I want you to know about.
Toyota EX-2
Toyota EX-2
This little Toyota concept from 1969 is amazing! The shape is sooo weird.
I love this little autonomous bus by Muji. I would love to go to Helsinki to see it. It kinda reminds me of the trains that transport between airport terminals.
Someone I know (I forgot who) send me this URL that searches an art archive for the word “ghost”. It’s such a great idea to search online archives for things like this and I would have never thought of it. Below are some of my favorites from the results:
These paintings are so detailed, there is so much going on, and everyone has such great clothing.
That’s it for this week. I hope you found something interesting.
