Thought of the Week
It’s the beginning of March, and as I’ve done since early this year, it’s time for the Monthly Funding Report! You can check out past versions here and here.
You might recall a few weeks back I shared that Matteo Scarabelli corrected me when I predicted that NoCode fundraising had slowed in 2022. Well, he’s on the hook for the monthly funding report going forward - joke’s on you, buddy! 😂
Here’s a snapshot of the top 3 from his wonderfully detailed ‘Low Code Future’ newsletter! Matteo is a pro at capturing VC stats and I highly recommend subscribing to his newsletter if you find this stuff interesting (why wouldn’t you?)!
Here are the top 3 for February!
#1: A massive $200M Series C round raised by Genesis, a fintech low/nocode solution.
#2: Pecan AI out of Israel raised $66M for low code data science.
#3: SKAEL raised $38M for enterprise process automation.
In total, NoCode and Low Code companies raised almost $400M in February. Not bad for a short month!
