“Italy deserves such an event! Good job.”
This is the kind of message I’m receiving from friends and colleagues after the success of Musiconnect Italy
’s first edition. The organizers, who are long-term friends, can be proud. The whole event was good enough to launch the message: Italian world/folk music will never die
! And despite the differences, the diversity of experiences, and the various interests, there is a whole community of artists, producers, promoters, presenters, radio DJs, journalists, bloggers, … slowly coming together to get more visibility for the whole sector.
In December, until day 31, you’re able to check the artists who presented a showcase in Pistoia on BelItKo website
, a collaboration project, and an online festival
showcasing artists from Belgium, Italy, and Korea.
we’ll be busy this week following up with people we met in Pistoia and preparing the release of Tsuumi Sound System
’s new album
(a 72’ Live Album) that will come out in January.
And if you want to immerse yourself in the fantasy world of Luca Bassanese
, who had an amazing showcase in Pistoia ( “…..unique, passionate, expressive, full of life, love and energy”
D. Nardi), check the AIDA Studio Live Sessions
Have a good week,
