I hope you are well. Nothing is easy for venues, artists, and booking agents in these strange times. The global surge in Covid-19 cases is continuing to wreak havoc on the international live music calendar, with a growing number of early 2022 tours and concert dates cancelled or postponed. I had already to cancel various gigs in January and February. This seems the new normal and is very challenging.
We are also involved with the
Nufolk Global Connections Orchestra post-project reflection. The creation of the orchestra, which involves 12 young artists from 6 different EU countries, and the
album and
live show production (still available for festivals and venues) were made possible thanks to a
Creative Europe’s project that came to an end on December 31, 2021. The artists want to go on with the orchestra, and networking and educational activities. With our colleagues of
Darshan we will give them a hand to walk a step forward. Folk music will rock Europe!
Beside our PR & Booking activities, we are happy to coach the first artists who enrolled in our beta version of the
Music Artist Blueprint – a propaedeutic course to musician business modelling. It might also interest organisations working with artist development. Contact me if you are interested.
