It is in a dark context that we write to you today. The situation in Ukraine saddens us as much as it revolts us. We are still shocked by the choice of war made by President Putin and hope that a cease-fire will take place as soon as possible, leaving room for diplomacy, the only possible path. This war is unfounded, cruel, unjust and our thoughts go out to the bereaved, to the displaced, to those who are defending their freedom as well as to all those who are working to protect peace, to help those who are suffering from this violent illegitimate aggression.
As a network of cultural and digital professionals in galleries, libraries, archives and museums around the world, we also think of those in Ukraine who work in cultural organizations and who are suffering intensely from this situation.

It is in this context that we invite you to take note of the MuseumWeek 2022 program that we just finalized -notably with the 7 daily hashtags- and that you can download here after, hoping that you will be many to participate this year also (more than 6,000 cultural organisations and almost 30,000 individuals last year).
Kindly note finally that we are looking for new volunteers (see below) and new partners (tech sponsors, medias, cultural networks, etc.), drop us an email at contact@museum-week.org if you're interested!
Warm regards,
Benjamin BENITA,
President of the non-profit organization Culture For Causes Network
