Dear professionals from Galleries, Libraries, Archives and Museums, dear friends passionated by Culture, Art and Science,

First of all, we noticed that our last newsletter featuring a Ukrainian 🇺🇦 flag caused several people to unsubscribe from our newsletter, and even report us as spam. We regret such behavior and reaffirm our firm opposition to this unfounded war. Of course, we make a difference between the Russian people and the government of the Russian Federation, and it is the decisions of the latter that we condemn firmly.

Also, we have been tagged by the official account of the Russian government in an extremely provocative publication and have clearly expressed our disagreement.
On -almost- another topic now, last week was marked by the International Women’s Day (8 March) and we took this opportunity to republish the video story of the Russian artist Uldus Bakhtiozina, initially posted in 2019 when we launched the movement #WomenInCulture with the Fondation CHANEL:

Watch the portrait of Uldus Bakhtiozina, a Russian artist: she creates photo stories and video installations that challenge stereotypes and create diversity. #WomenInCulture is a worldwide movement launched by Culture For Causes Network in the framework of #MuseumWeek https://t.co/EZ04cB91s6

When German soldiers used to come to my studio and look at my pictures of Guernica, they'd ask 'Did you do this?'. And I'd say, 'No, you did.'” - Pablo Picasso, about his painting Guernica
