Cheers to the weekend (plus an Amazon HQ2 in NYC)!
Sara Hooker, a well-known DL researcher at Google Brain, published a post clarifying her career progression after The Economist claimed she got her job at Google Brain with just the DL course. This post is a must-read for anyone who wants a realistic example of “how to become a data scientist”. In the post, she heavily references an organization called Delta Analytics that pairs data experts with non-profits as a channel through which she worked on interesting projects!
Sending more resources your way - Samuel Finlayson, a Google angular engineer, had a popular tweet on ML + statistics resources, which you can review here
For Jupyter Notebook or Google Colab users out there, I recently published a post on monitoring live model results from within your notebook (and saving them). If you find it helpful, please share :)
