Mashreq NEO to become first digital bank in UAE to use facial recognition
#UAE #facialrecognition - Mashreq NEO, the full-service digital bank from Mashreq Bank, will enable residents to open a bank account using facial recognition technology from November. Sezad conducts drone delivery trials
#Oman #logistics - The Special Economic Zone at Duqm (Sezad) has been testing drone delivery for postal services and food delivery in collaboration with UVL Robotics. The Public Authority for Special Economic Zones and Free Zones (Opaz) has designated a testing zone for drone experiments in Sezad, covering an area of 18 square kilometres. (Times of Oman)

Emirates Group's Dnata invests in drones for its warehouses
#UAE #logistics- Emirates Group‘s global air and travel services provider Dnata has partnered with Gather AI, a US-based technology startup, to launch an autonomous inventory management platform using drones in its warehouses at Dallas Fort Worth International Airport (DFW) in the USA. The system autonomously monitor shipments with 99.8 percent accuracy. ( Zawya)
